CodeGear announced March 3 at the SD West 2008 conference in Santa Clara, Calif., that it funded the development of a new, fast Ruby debugger based on the ruby-debug gem. Developers are planning to use Web development and scripting or dynamic languages more than traditional procedural languages over the next 18 months, according to a recent survey conducted by Ziff Davis Enteprise.
