I liked Seattle. I would move there if I had the money.
On Friday, we visited Fremont. Maurine posed by a statue of Lenin and bought an overpriced dog collar. I climbed and rolled around on a giant troll sculpture that kinda smelled like pee.
On Saturday morning, we went to Pike Place Market. It seems like a nice place to visit when there aren’t a ton of people there.
We also went to the Space Needle on Saturday. We took pictures while trying to listen to whoever was playing at Bumbershoot. It was chilly and somewhat expensive for an elevator ride and a view.
On Sunday, we went to Bumbershoot. I read on the ticket that you can’t bring cameras with detachable lenses, so I left my camera at Tina’s apartment. WHEN WE GOT THERE AND I SAW ALL THESE PEOPLE WITH CAMERAS LIKE MINE. ARRRGGGHHHH.
We saw:
Saul Williams , who I probably wouldn’t have seen if Maurine wasn’t a fan. I thought it was going to be music, but he recited hi...

A buddy sent this to me. He was going to visit the Seattle Aquarium and decided to email them about the possibility of fishing there. He was able to get several replies from the staff there. In case you are wondering, I did not make this exchange up:

I can’t even tell you how much I hate this question. If you asked me this 10 years ago, I would’ve said that I would be graduated (Rutgers University) and that I’d probably have a job related to biology or chemistry. (and 12-year-old me still wouldn’t be sure.)
I hate saying “I don’t know.” because it just seems like a bad answer at a job interview. But seriously, I could be anywhere in 10 years.
I could still be a graphic design... more
I signed up for the monthly NaBloPoMo. The theme for this month is lists. I avoided blogging in February because all my topics could be turned into lists. Of course, now that it is March, I can’t remember a single topic and I didn’t have enough sense to write any of them down.
