As most knew they would the Senate passed the new and revised rescue plan which would in essence bail out the failed and failing money institutions on which our economy depends. Sort of like rewarding Johnny for throwing the cat into the well, but that’s the way these things work.

Well, John McCain may think he has a fellow "maverick" in Sarah Palin as a running mate, but the definition of a "maverick" is a lost and unruly calf. Ask any cowboy. Bob Herbert writes in the NYT this morning about the words emanating from the mouth of Sarah Palin. She is definitely lost in space and definitely an immature politician. (Thought I was going to say "cow," didn’t you!~)
