New research further debunks any link between measles vaccine and
autism, work that comes as the nation is experiencing a surge in measles
cases fueled by children left unvaccinated.

“We are confident there is no link between MMR and autism,” Lipkin said.
Measles, once routinely sickened thousands of children a year and killed
hundreds, until childhood vaccinations made it a rarity in this country.
This year, the U.S. has counted 131 cases, the most in a decade.
Of course the pro-pestilence nut jobs are going to go in to full denial
mode on this, pull out know-nothing celebrities, stick their fingers in
their ears, and start chanting. Evidence means nothing to those people.

If the TV shows Survivor and the Newlywed Game had a night of drunken sex, the result would be the completely unwatchable Here Come the Newlyweds on ABC . We had the unfortunate experience of having accidentally recording this crap and started to watch it. After 5 minutes I wanted to gouge my eyes out. The hardest thing for me to believe is that there’s some studio exec that’s pulling down big bucks who said, “Yeah, go with this.”

New Louisiana Police Force Proposed
Louisiana State Representative Derrick Shepherd has proposed the formation of the Louisiana State Fashion Police. People who wear low-slung pants that expose skin or “intimate clothing” would face a fine of up to $500 and possible jail time under a bill filed by the Jefferson Parish lawmaker.
