Simon Hampel works for IBM (in the IBM Workplace & Lotus Software ISV Technical Enablement Team) and has a terrific blog dedicated to WebSphere and it’s Workplace offerings: the Workplace Channel . If you are working off the IBM download site, trying out WebSphere Portal solutions, or Workplace, then you’ll want to check out the Workplace Channel.
Simon has created a guideline for which product downloads are to mapped to which installation directory (this makes sense if you’ve ever tried to install WebSphere). His guide saved me a lot of wasted time.

My company is planning on a one-day Domino 7 on Linux workshop. The idea would be do a basic Linux install, and then add Domino and provide some basic configurations. It’ll be fun.
