I’ve used Total Choice Hosting on all of my sites for almost 3 years now, and have recommended them to a handful of colleagues and friends - all of us have been exceptionally pleased with their support, speed, reliability, and price. Honestly, $5.00 month-to-month (zero setup fees or contract) for 80gb bandwidth and 2.4gb storage is hard to beat in my mind. They don’t offer support for Zopes or Ruby at this point in the game, but that aside, their PHP & MySQL functionality is top-notch with very few restrictions. (Mostly minor stuff like using file_exists() in or preceding the base directory.)I unfortunately can’t speak for their reseller hosting accounts because I haven’t yet used one, but I’d imagine them to be every bit as good (if not better) than their shared hosting.

Are you talking about Clayton’s FMD?huh? the discussion board we’ve been talking on on thefmd.com, not FSw.I figured the rates were around there, but even if he was only charging $50/hour, I still didn’t have the budget to pay appropriately. So he’s my new hero in a way. Also, I was holding for MT’s support, and by chance figured out the whole phpmyadmin thing. It all makes sense now......

"What part of that is a freelancer question?"I was replying to the very first sentence uttered in response to my post. Quote: "what’s with the second link going to free music download?" So nah it’s not a freelancer question, but it’s a question I was asked- unprovoked- by a member, so I answered it.Thanks other guys for the input, but I think my question was shrowded in both my sloppy phrasing, and in some hasty moderation: I would never tell a designer how long I think a wo...

Can do.Also, for your own reference, the going rate for that kind of work (at least in the LA area) can range anywhere from $40 to $80/hour of work, depending on experience. If you ever get into some *serious* database work (large scale, sensitive info, complex structure, etc), I’ve heard rates in the range of $100 - $150/hour are not uncommon, especially among Oracle database admins.Edit: Beta tester site? Are you talking about Clayton’s FMD?...
