Which FREE Antivirus is the Lightest on System Memory Usage?

Few days ago I got an email from Jalil asking me which would be the best free antivirus program to use on an old pc which won’t slow down the computer. There are easily 10 types of free antivirus and I couldn’t really tell which one is the lightest on memory usage because I’ve never really compared all of them. I know for sure the latest AVG FREE 8.0 is bloated and it takes up a lot of memory and I could only guess “maybe” Avira Antivir Personal is the lightest.
