Twitter really is proving to be a disruptive force in the way we think. The past two days people all over Twitter have been passing tweets about an apparent proposal by a guy on Twitter. I didn’t really feel that people would get engaged over Twitter but turns out that an engagement did indeed happen.
Who is this geeky couple you might ask! Well Max Kiesler and Emily Chang made it official in the early hours of 20th March. Max really is a lucky guy because Emily responded within a minute and the most important thing it was positive reply from Emily. Imagine the public embarrassment this would have caused for Max if Emily’s response was in the negative.
Max Kiesler’s sweet tweet at 3:13 a.m. Thursday: “To @emilychang - After fifteen years of blissful happiness I would like to ask for your hand in marriage?”
