Even though I am officially on vacation this week, I did want to blog about some cool stuff we are doing at the DNC in NewsGator’s hometown this week. The Big Tent stuff is getting some great coverage , and our widget is aggregating feeds from a whole bunch of blogs that are covering the event. Check it out, install it, follow the activities.

Check out the Discovery Channel blog for the “ Everest : Beyond the Limit ” program. On the sidebar is a “latest headlines” widget built on their RSS feed, provided by Newsgator .
The widget on the Everest blog is itself simply an instantiation of the widget that Newsgator is making available for embedding in your blog, the Everest site being powered by Typepad.

Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) is one of 40 members of the House who are staying behind to protest the adjournment of the House before having a vote on energy bills. This is actually pretty cool because Culberson is using Qik to stream out video from the House after the C-SPAN television cameras were turned off.
