We’ve all seen the headlines. According to the MSM Obamedia, Sarah Palin has been found to have abused her power as Governor by reassigning one of her appointees to another job. Mysteriously missing from this claim is the fact that as Governor she has the legal right to do so to any appointee at any time, regardless of what anyone thinks about it. So in fact, Sarah did not abuse her power, she exercised it. And that seems to be what the uproar is all about.
There is not a single fact in the 263 page report that clearly demonstrates beyond reasonable doubt that Sarah did anything wrong. The investigator himself states that although he found no evidence of wrong doing, it was his opinion that other factors may have contributed to Monegan’s reassignment. He then characterizes this reassignment as a firing, which it clearly is not. Monegan resigned, which is a well established matter of record. He wasn’t fired, he quit.
