we have had quite a bunch of bug reports for some display corruptions in iceweasel most if not all of which are due to offscreen pixmaps being badly rendered by the x.org video driver.

upgrading debian etch to lenny
m upgrading my debian linux vms to their testing release called lenny. the upgrade itself is fairly easy and foolproof but installing the vmware tools 110271 is a harder thing to do.

de repente la hora de varias maquinas en gmt3 cambiaron a gmt2 parece que esta roto el tzdata en upstream las libc. pueden resolverlo temporalmente instalando el paquete de unstable .
update marga me dice que el paquete de unstable se rompe dentro de 15 daas aunque por ahora es la anica solucian sin tener que modificar el timezone a mano.
