Brooklyn based chip/folk/etc artist Mark Denardo has launched his new website, with full lentgh tracks from his current release Graffiti Monsters . I helped worked on some of the rough demos for these tracks, but what they’ve become with his live band and in the studio are really great, and should be checked out.

Genius certainly is a nifty little sidebar to your iTunes collection. After it’s collected every scrap of information about your library and sent it through the Apple ultra-computer you can select any song in your library and create an instant playlist from it. I can’t decide if this makes me a bad person, but after watching Logan’s Run, what stuck in my head was that Michael York is one of the least masculine leading men I’ve ever seen. Pictures don’t do it justice, but here’s one , and here’s another . And hey, more power to the 1970s for not forcing their leading men to be super macho.

I know that this is just a Robin Reliant turned the other way round, but I think the possibility of owning one would probably be enough to encourage me to learn to drive, that is if the ghosts of the environment future didn’t get to me first.
