storing scroll saw blades became a bit of a mess so i dug into an old box that i had saved glass tubes that cigars came in that was given to me by a friend and there were lots and they were the perfect height for the blades. went to the fall off pile of wood and found some small pieces of 346 inch pine and made a sort of rack for the tubes. the top holes are bored at 34 an... i made this coffee table for a church auction building fund. made of flatsawn red oak mission style with solid wood top and shelf. was hand rubbed with a tung oil finish. i really like the natural wood look.

this was the step in my home office furniture project see the deskhutch project hence the poor picture quality its about 5 years old so my digital camera at the time was suspect. its solid cherry frame and shelves with solid maple panels and cherry ply back panels. i based it on a bookcase i saw in a fww issue a few years ago.

decorative parquetry dinning table
this 54 diameter table top has maple birch walnut ebony. i cut the parquetry with a scalpel using the window method the outside bullnose edge is glued up with five 18 layers of solid maple. the radius rings of ebony were glued up on radius templates with three layers of 332 to equal the 14 ebony inlays. the center opening is open with a 38 thick beveled glass i...
