i will admit i am not that good at typing fast. it takes me quite a while to finish a post with only 200 words. this is one of the reasons i dread writing cause it takes forever. anyway for people like me who cannot type 5 words without a typo there are countless sites to help improve typing skills. the main problem with these sites they are boring and do not motivate at all.

i came across this really fun site called type racer . you can log in without an account if you want to try it out.
my first test i did 57 wpm which i thought was really good. i havent tested my typing speed since i took the course back in 1987 i then ran a random race against a group of people and came in 3rd with 65 wpm.
