i have been using cheese a webcam application for a while. the most recent distro that i used it on was opensuse 10 and before that fedora core 9. i was running it on hardy heron but had numerous issues with it. i am not sure if these issues were related to the camera or to the application. however i was forced to unplug and replug in the camera in order to get it to work.
