I am not a crafty person. My parents used to make craft-y stuff when I was a kid, and they tried to include me in the family fun. But it always came to the point where someone else had to either re-do or finish my craft project to make it look halfway decent. SO, although I want to have a simpler, more homey Christmas (also less expensive), I can’t really do craft projects that take ...... [Show More]

Sprittibee hates talking about politics , and yet she can’t seem to stop. I love talking about politics, and yet I just haven’t desired to wade into those waters. But I’ve been asked so I thought I would answer.

pqt bvdjw I KNEW IT! I knew his dodgy wordy rhetoric about schooling was all about how to abolish homeschools and make every child attend some form of public school with “qua lifiedR 21; teachers. I was alerted to the voting record of Obama on school today by Sprittibee . Don’t believe me? See for yourself under school choice . This is the information I have been looking for about ...... I watched the 3rd Party Debates on C-Span night before last. It was so very refreshing to hear the issues discussed much more frankly, with pointed (true) conviction, without all of the rhetoric and pandering to mainstream America-Media, double-talking fluff. If you missed them, you can view them here on YouTube . We also caught John Stossel’s Politically Incorrect Guide to Politic...... [Show More]
Life with a little one is busy... ALL. the time. I’d forgotten just how busy one baby can keep a Momma, and then, throw in a seventh grader and a fourth grader, with so many of their activities and a large part of their education hinging on my daily accessibility... not to even mention everyday stuff like housework, cooking healthful meals, running errands, etcetera... and then wifedom too! ...... school bells Post Source: feeds.feedburner.com Posted: Sep 25 2008 15:51:00
We’ve been trying out Time Chimes , an automatic school bell program that I heard about from Sprittibee . It’s been a great help at keeping us on task so we can get stuff done. It’s been wonderful at helping me not get too distracted. You don’t know how nice that feels unless you are a chronically distracted, disorganized mess like I am. After years of trying to be more o...... [Show More]

“All the World’s a stage,” said Shakespeare’s college student Jacques de Boys in As You Like It , “and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages…”

Mimi began this wonderful movement almost two years ago. It has become a phenomenon, awing me from the onset. Here are Mimi’s thoughts on BlogBlast for Peace:
Peace Globes did not begin as a meme. But it began to behave like a meme. Blog to blog to blog. Like a fog. We didn’t use the word “tag” ….but that’s what we did when we invited others in our blogrolls...... [Show More]
