Tegenwoordig zijn uitgebreide footers ‘in’. Allerlei links naar onderdelen van de site staan hier gerubriceerd. En omdat een footer in principe oneindig is, kunnen er heel veel links worden geplaatst.
Ik heb lange tijd niet begrepen waarom; vooral omdat al die informatie meestal below the fold staat. Maar het blijkt te maken te hebben met SEO (search engine optimization).
