last week we arrived home late in the afternoon after a brief rain storm and as we got out of the car we saw our willow tree bathed in gold. my husband dashed in the house to get his camera and took a dozen shots of it.

i love conferences. i love spending day after day talking and thinking about learning with people who are as engaged and energized by the time to reflect as i am. i love sharing a common experience that can build momentum to rethink and reevaluate our daily practice of teaching and learning when we get back to our day jobs. mostly i just love the conversation.
